Born on a six-generation Wyoming ranch, DayHerder is grounded in the belief that ranch software should feel practical, intuitive, and genuinely helpful from the start.
Ranching has always been built on information—what's been born, bred, treated, moved, or lost. But for most operations, that information lives in notebooks, spreadsheets, or conversations that don't always carry over when you need them.
As a fifth-generation ranching family raising the sixth, we knew the gaps firsthand—flipping through record books, rewriting data, tracking down answers across multiple places, and trying to keep everyone on the same page.
So we built something better.
DayHerder is the result of real operational challenges meeting real technical expertise. What started as a way to simplify our own record keeping quickly became something bigger-a platform designed to bring clarity, organization, and communication to the entire operation.
DayHerder isn't about replacing the way you ranch. It's about strengthening it.
Because the future of agriculture shouldn't mean losing tradition—it should mean protecting it with better tools.
We’re proud to support the people who keep it all running from dawn to dusk.
Practical innovation means building tools that solve real problems and deliver meaningful improvements to daily work—simple, useful, and never just more screens to manage.
